I would give a 5 star review, but I had to wait over a month for my truck. Tarr did set me up with a loaner which was really appreciated. When the part came in I was contacted and the job was completed rather quickly. After delivery there was some computer problems that were addressed quickly. Overall I will continue patronizing Tarr. Thank you

Very pleased

I had my truck serviced on 1/24/25 where they claimed they checked every due to me asking for a full service not just a regular oil change and tire rotation. On the 24th I was told specifically my brakes were at a 7 out of 10 and no need to get them done yet. A few days after leaving the dealership after that initial service I noticed grinding coming from the brakes and it was harder to come to a stop while doing normal driving. I then scheduled a brake service for 2/10/25 at 8:45 am. I arrived on time to immediately be told that my truck would likely not be done until after lunch for whatever reason. I’m not sure the reason to schedule the time of service to be told simply looking at and replacing pads and possibly rotors on the front would take 6 hours. Yet I was told that there were multiple vehicles ahead of me although I scheduled the service for the earliest time possible. I was then convinced to take the shuttle home without the option for a loaner vehicle and I was told I would be given a call when my truck began to get worked on. At 2:30pm on 2/10/25 I had to call the dealership to see if anything had been done and I was told no and they likely wouldn’t get to until tomorrow and then was told they could get a loaner to me. I could not take that offer at that point because I had to work and I work night shift and did not sleep due to thinking my truck would be done in a timely manner. On 2/11/25 at 9:30 I called the dealership once again to ask if my truck had been worked on yet and I was told they just started it. I was also told that although the tires were rotated on 1/24/25 they did not check the brakes with the wheels and tires off for some reason. All though the customer service was okay I feel like the wear on my brakes could’ve been prevented and saved myself money if thingss weee checked properly the first time.

The buying experience was exceptional. It took GM six months to produce and ship the vehicle I ordered to the dealer, but the deal I made six months before was recognized and honored. There was no hassel or backtracking. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I got an oil change. The service was good and fast.

Chris Messer, in service was great and was very helpful and friendly. I have all of my services done at Tarr but...... I have an issue with the pricing that GM sets for service. I had a thermostat replaced and it costed me $583.00! This is robbery! I know that I could have ordered OEM thermostat and housing for around $100 and replaced it my self within about an hour but I was crunched on time and have always been satisfied with Tarr. I'll DEFINITELY make time for any future repairs that's within my skill level and do the work myself.

Had to replace a thermostat on my 2019 Colorado. I was told it will cost $1,300 to replace at dealership. I was under the impression that the “Tarr Lifetime Warranty” covered these expenses..I’ll have to review warranty? Thanx

*Pal Dojcsak Service Manager quoted a repair price on my 2014 Traverse LTZ. Pal came in on price point after all services were completed and let me know the progress of my vehicle. *Tim Livingston complete the repairs that day, even stayed over to be sure my vehicle was repaired correctly and in time do I could pick it up the next morning . Now that’s a long time, dedicated associate whom takes pride in his job. Tim also left no evidence of any coolant on the engine area , so cleanup was extremely appreciated and again show Tim’s pride in the work he’s done !!!!! *Also spoke with Robby Jackson and Travis Frazer while waiting on my ride home. Both are like “good neighbors “.

This is the fifth vehicle purchased within the past three years from Tarr Chevrolet. Two personnel, two families, and one company vehicle. Travis, Caleb, and Chase are like family, we believe they do everything possible to make the best deal. Each purchase has been unique, and the Tarr team has remained consistent. The service department has always been considered part of the deal due to the professional environment and care they show.

Everyone is always nice and professional when I go there. I drive over 30 minutes to come here for service. I have two other Chevy dealerships closer to my home but I will continue to come to Tarr for my service needs!!!

They should be checking warranties. If customer asks about something, we shouldn’t have to remind them. I was charged for tire rotation & should not have been. Rep should be informing of good (brakes, battery, etc.) and of issues (brakes, tires, etc). That’s customer services. Isn’t Tarr’s moto of treating people right”. I’ve been going there since 1993. The receptionist was awesome!

Pulled onto the lot Chris Liveri ( awesome to work with )ask if he could help us in anyway, talked to him for a bit as we was just looking. So we ask if we could look inside the 2 vehicle as my coworker and myself stop in during lunch. After looking at the 2 Truck ( 1500 High County & 1500 Trail Boss) Chris said they was motivated for sale. We told him get us a price worked up and txt us because we needed to get back to work. I told him I would send him the Vin # of my truck and some photos when I got back. Chris sent back some numbers on Friday and my coworker and I talked about it. But we was hoping for a little better on Saturday Travis Frazier got involved and Travis was awesome very knowledgeable man got everything we need done got us a great deal so we bought both trucks that day. Casey was my finance guy Casey explained everything in great detail got me in &out very easy. They wash and clean both Truck (even the windows) help us move are things from the truck to the new ones. All and all best experience I have ever had at a dealership.

Excellent service

Found a grease spot on my interior and oil spilled on my motor. Completely unacceptable. I also now smell burnt oil every time I drive my car. Hopefully that smell will subside soon. Please do not let amateurs touch my Camaro again. Thanks.

Service department took time explaining items that would benefit me. They were very polite, patient, detailed, and great communicators.

Was told I needed new rotors and vehicle only had 75000 miles...was never offered to see rotors. They can usually be turned at least once and it is significantly less expensive. Feel like I should have been offered to see the wear and reason I needed to spend the money for the repair.

My Silverado needed battery replacement. The service dept. was able to fit me into their schedule and remedy the problem quickly.

Don’t remember the service writer but he did a really good job at listening to my concerns. He even let me talk with the Electrical Tech whom explained exactly what was going on and listened and answered my questions. Forgot his name but he was excellent. During my visit Jerry Moneytree said hello as well as Corvette Tech Tim Livingston. As I entered the showroom Robby Jackson, Travis Frazier and Jerry Hampton all held a conversation with me as well . I’ve noticed a newer salesman Walt Rickman has always said hello as well. Scored 10 out of 10 Corvettes

Great guys, but highly inconvenient experience. Every dealer I’ve ever worked with, even with having a trade, would meet me halfway or deliver. Car wasn’t ready when i got there after driving 6 hours.

* Pal service mgr took care of my needs as usual. Pal leads his team by example and is always interacting with his team as a leader should. Pal also parked my vehicle in a safe spot as the lot is usually crowded and I appreciate that !!!!! Pal also pointed out an issue that came up when installing a part instead of me finding it on my own. Thats integrity at its finest. * Todd my service advisor commented that he really liked the color of my truck. He also communicated with me to see if I wanted my parts boxes back or to discard. * As always Robbie Jackson, Travis Frazier and Jerry Hampton spoke and held a conversation. * I also ordered a part from Jason and he is great with customers as he treats you as a neighbor

Tarr Chevrolet continues to impress me with their knowledge and kindness when servicing my Camaro. The only reason 1 star is omitted is for the oil left on my valve cover (again). We presented a coupon for the oil change, and it ended up costing more than the last oil change. When asked why it was so high, the young lady at the checkout counter simply responded with, “You’ll need to talk to the guys at service.” The plastic sand paper covers are always left in my vehicle.

I had great experience working with the salesman, Walt. I live two hours away and was able to negotiate a deal over the phone. Walt sent pictures and videos and answered all my questions. I was able to order some extra accessories for the truck and have them installed before my arrival with Walt's assistance. Once I arrived at the dealership, the truck was waiting out front with a full tank of gas. Walt explained the ins and outs of the vehicle and ensured all accessories were installed correctly. The paperwork process went smooth and we moved forward with the deal agreed upon. I will be buying all vehicles from Walt and Tarr Chevrolet going forward and have already recommended them to several friends who are in the market.

I had bring to vehicle back because it wasn’t fix right the first time. Now that I’ve had the truck less than a week it is still not right and pulls to the right! So I started checking my tire pressure and to help the truck not pull to much to the right they put 29 psi in the left tire and 40 psi in the right to mask the issue! I’m bringing the truck back Monday for the third time! There is something other than an alignment wrong! I’m very disappointed with repairs Tarr has did on this truck !

I had a tire replaced on my Corvette. It was covered under warranty. Todd, the service manager handled it and made the transaction completely painless!

Service was great. The dealership was very friendly and helpful. I had a scheduled oil change and asked for my brake vacuum pump to be checked for possible failure. It was found to be failing and was able to replace it this same day without coming back and telling me that my brake booster and master cylinder also needed replacement. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle which was awesome! Now, the negative which has nothing to do with the dealership. They have to follow BIG GM directions which includes a minimum time to charge for labor. This pump was covered under what I call a "soft recall" for 10 yrs or 150,000 miles. This means that if the owner doesn't report a problem before times was up it's the owners problem. This stinks!! If GM new that there was a possible problem, it should have been a total recall. My truck is under the miles BUT the 10 yrs ran out July 2025. I've never agreed with the year warranty. I know numerous people who's warranties run out per years before the miles run out. Warranties should only go by the miles! I know of one person who has a 2015 Colorado and it only has 25,000 miles. Warranty is gone but the mechanics of the vehicle has basically not broke in yet to find any problems.

Everyone was friendly and professional. They charged me $20 to rotate the tires after I had just received an email that said it was complimentary with the oil change. They charged me $70 for a gas filter that I can and have bought for $17. I will probably find somewhere else to get the service done because the prices are way too high.

The service department is one of the easiest to deal with! Always straightforward and very quick with service! I never feel bombarded with upsells, and when they do recommend something, it feels just like that—a recommendation, not something shoved down your throat. They had my 2025 Trailblazer's steering column trim fixed the same day after getting the part in. Oil changes are priced very reasonably.

Tarr Chevrolet is where I purchased my truck 10 years ago and has provided service for 10 years. This time, Nate did an awesome job with replacing my transmission. I was dissappointed that transmission failed me with only 146K miles and have had it serviced twice and never abuse or tow anything over 3500 lbs. Fact is that prior to this Chevy I had a RAM for years with no major issues ever but my Chevy now has had transmission, A/C, Wheel hub and painted. Love it though.
