Service Tech in Jefferson City, TN
Business is growing at Tarr Chevrolet, so we need to expand our service team to contend with this continued growth. Our service team is now hiring qualified service technicians at all levels!

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Perform quality repair and maintenance work on general maintenance, recalls, and diagnostics within book time rates and meeting dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
- Provide estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance
- Account for dealership-owned tools and keep shop neat
- Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions
- Be prepared to perform other duties based on your skill level and certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of automotive repair experience
- Must be versatile in skills and tasks performed
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
- GM experience is a PLUS!
- Diesel experience is a PLUS!
