The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is powered by either of two small displacement, three-cylinder, turbocharged engine options. The smallest is a 1.2L engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, while the slightly bigger one has a 1.3L displacement and generates 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Engines can be mated to either a CVT (continuously variable transmission) or a nine-speed automatic transmission.

These turbocharged engines make the new Blazer feel agile and spritely. It corners very well for a crossover and carries its weight very well whether in the city or on the highway.
